Loseley Park House & Gardens, Guildford - 19 May 2011
Well the weather was extremely kind to us again for out trip to Loseley Park. We arrived just in time for our guided tour of Loseley House - built in the 1560s - which we discovered had many fascinating features, such as panels from Nonsuch Palace and works of art including magnificent paintings, clocks and cabinets. A real treat.
It was then off to have a delicious tub of Loseley ice cream and lunch from the Coutyard Tearoom sitting outside in the sunshine, chatting and nattering away.
After lunch, to help those calories along, we strolled around the Gardens and lake and all too soon, it was time to rejoin the coach for our return journey.
A splendid day out.
